Kevin Sodee

I joined ACAMS to work alongside highly trained and knowledgeable finance professionals and to continue expanding my skill set. So far, it has been a very positive experience. I’ve learned a great deal and truly enjoy working across different departments with both staff and executives.

What attracted me to ACAMS was the flexibility of remote working and the opportunity to be part of an international team. Since joining, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with colleagues across different regions and departments, which has been a very rewarding experience. Although many of us work remotely and are geographically dispersed, the team has consistently been supportive, approachable, and always willing to help one another.

One thing that surprised me about working at ACAMS is how connected and collaborative the company feels, despite being a global and largely remote environment. It’s inspiring how supportive people are and how everyone works together towards a shared goal - to build and strengthen the global anti-financial crime community.

Joining ACAMS has long been a goal of mine since developing my career in the anti-financial crime (AFC) training design and delivery space over a decade ago. The ability to join such a strong AFC professional community and reach a global audience exerts a strong pull! 

My experience so far has genuinely been fantastic. I have already been involved in a number of projects and everyone I’ve met has been so supportive and accommodating. 

One thing that stood out to me is how valued staff feel. I’ve been impressed by the work ethic and behavior modelling of the leadership and my colleagues. It really does feel like everyone is happy to be here!
