I joined ACAMS to work alongside highly trained and knowledgeable finance professionals and to continue expanding my skill set. So far, it has been a very positive experience. I’ve learned a great deal and truly enjoy working across different departments with both staff and executives.  

This exposure has given me valuable insight into how the business operates from both a financial and operational perspective. The finance team is exceptionally friendly and collaborative, and one of the standout aspects of ACAMS is the openness around giving and receiving feedback. It’s an environment where people work together respectfully, share honest input, and stay focused on achieving common goals.

I joined ACAMS for the opportunity to work in a global payroll role spanning multiple countries—exactly the direction I’ve always wanted my career to take. From day one, I felt supported and set up for success, and that support continues more than a year later. What I value most is the strong collaboration within my team, the flexibility and benefits, as well as the inclusive company culture. Most inspiring of all is the dedication and commitment my colleagues bring to their work every day.

What attracted me to working at ACAMS was the opportunity to develop knowledge in the industry, and making a difference in the region. My experience has been great so far; teams and colleagues are supportive, collaborative, and respectful.

One of the things I appreciate most about ACAMS is the leadership. It’s reassuring to know I can reach out for support when I need it, as leaders are open, approachable and accessible. 

What I enjoy the most about working at ACAMS is the combination of global vision and entrepreneurial flexibility. The organization encourages initiative, collaboration, and innovation, while also empowering regional teams to adapt to local market needs. 

I also value the opportunity to work with talented colleagues from different regions and functions, which creates a very dynamic and collaborative working environment. 

I’m impressed by how globally connected the organization is, while still maintaining a people-oriented and collaborative culture. That balance between professionalism, agility, and human connection is something I truly appreciate. 

What attracted me to ACAMS was the flexibility of remote working and the opportunity to be part of an international team. Since joining, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with colleagues across different regions and departments, which has been a very rewarding experience. Although many of us work remotely and are geographically dispersed, the team has consistently been supportive, approachable, and always willing to help one another.

One thing that surprised me about working at ACAMS is how connected and collaborative the company feels, despite being a global and largely remote environment. It’s inspiring how supportive people are and how everyone works together towards a shared goal - to build and strengthen the global anti-financial crime community.

Joining ACAMS has long been a goal of mine since developing my career in the anti-financial crime (AFC) training design and delivery space over a decade ago. The ability to join such a strong AFC professional community and reach a global audience exerts a strong pull! 

My experience so far has genuinely been fantastic. I have already been involved in a number of projects and everyone I’ve met has been so supportive and accommodating. 

One thing that stood out to me is how valued staff feel. I’ve been impressed by the work ethic and behavior modelling of the leadership and my colleagues. It really does feel like everyone is happy to be here!
