Lana Mumm is an AML Investigations Senior Lead at Wise, where she has contributed for almost 7 years across both KYC and Fincrime domains. Currently, she leads the NorthAM and Latam AML Investigations teams. During her tenure, she has held various leadership positions demonstrating a strong trajectory in financial crime prevention. Overall, Lana has over 13 years of experience in Financial Services.

Michael Galdo is a Counsel with the Special Matters and Government Investigations practice group at King & Spalding LLP in Austin, Texas. He focuses on complex investigations, especially those with cyber, transnational, or national security implications. Mr. Galdo joined King & Spalding after serving for over 15 years as a federal prosecutor, and as the Department of Justice’s Director of COVID-19 Fraud Enforcement in the Office of the Deputy Attorney General.  Mr. Galdo was also the Assistant United States Attorney in Charge of Cybercrime for the Western District of Texas, leading investigations into malware distributors, cryptocurrency exchanges, business email compromise offenses, money launderers, and other cybercrime offenses. Mr. Galdo spent nearly a decade as a national security prosecutor, investigating and charging export control violations for the unlawful export of sensitive technology and terrorism offenses. Before Austin, Mr. Galdo was an organized crime prosecutor on the U.S.-Mexico Border, where he prosecuted drug cartel, public corruption, and other organized criminal groups.

Cate manages strategic client relationships and growth for Evidencity and Southern Pulse, an Evidencity partner company. Prior to assuming her current role, she oversaw day-to-day operations at Southern Pulse, the only strategic advisory firm that focuses exclusively on Latin America. Cate is passionate about the positive impact the private sector can make in challenging jurisdictions globally and helps companies enter, expand, and navigate the challenges in emerging and edge markets with an "eyes open" approach. Within the Southern Pulse and Evidencity ecosystems, Cate specializes in Latin America's non-aligned states (Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela), as well as Chinese and Russian business activities across Latin America. Cate has lived in Argentina and Cuba and has spent significant time in Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala.
