London-based Gem Conn has thirty years of experience in the business information industry. She's been heavily involved in Dow Jones Risk & Compliance since its inception in 2000, as managing editor from 2000-2006, head of content strategy, and quality manager. 

Currently, Ms. Conn is Vice President of Risk & Compliance Research, responsible for all the structured data powering the Dow Jones Risk & Compliance solutions. The data includes structured Adverse Media Entities profiles, alongside Politically Exposed Persons data and content relating to Sanctions and Sanctions Control & Ownership. 

Ms. Conn started her career at Reuters in London, becoming head of translations and research teams for European business news. She holds an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Westminster and a B.A. in Modern Languages from Trinity College, Dublin.

Oli Buckley is a Professor of Cyber Security at Loughborough University. Oli’s research interests focus on the intersection between humans and technology, including algorithmic decision making, biometrics, insider threat detection and more recently the applications of emerging technologies, such as AI, in cybercrime. His recent research projects have targeted novel methods of engagement and interaction, for instance, developing of a graphic novel on digital forensics, creating a cyber escape room or designing a mega game (Show Runner) aimed at explaining the risks and rewards of AI technologies. He has spoken about AI scams at various conferences (The Fraud Conference), on TV and podcasts (BBC, ITV, Somewhere on Earth Podcast), and regularly offers opinion and comment in a range of news outlets (The Times, Sky, BBC).

Kevin McGuinness VP of Strategy at Napier AI, bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services. With a focus on combating anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime, he leads a global team of experts in technology and regulation. Kevin's track record includes senior roles in delivery, transformation, and commercial leadership, notably at First Derivative, where he built and managed a global consulting team. Renowned for his innovative approach, Kevin integrates agile technologies, strategic partnerships, and best-in-class operating models to ensure compliance and drive commercial advantage for institutions worldwide.

Phil McInerney is a Detective Chief Inspector at the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), with responsibility for national cybercrime and cryptocurrency strategy across police forces in England and Wales. Prior to his role with the NPCC, Phil was a Detective Inspector within the MPS Cyber Crime Unit, where he led a number of operations to target organised cyber criminals involved in high-level criminality, operating across the UK and internationally. Phil has previous experience in a number of detective roles across Serious and Organised Crime, Anti-Corruption and Counter Terrorism.
